SAILORS' ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

Good news for all you retired Sailors vets.  After 6 years, the Sailors are starting their own Alumni Association.  All those retired Sailors who want to stay in contact with your old team mates, and those who want to get re-involved in the organization, can now do it through the Sailors' Alumni Association.

The first event will be the Sailors' Annual Golf TournamentLet's get some foursomes together for the October 4th tourney @ Kettle Creek and show the kids how it is done!  This will be a great opportunity to get back together, exchange stories, and relive past glories!

In addition, as always, all retired players get free admission to all Sailors home games.

CHRISTMAS IN SAILOR-LAND!

The Sailors really get involved in Port Stanley at Christmas each year.  First on the agenda was to get together bright and early Sunday morning, Nov. 16th and help the Port Stanley Lions Club decorate the main drive to downtown by putting up Christmas lights at the Lions Landing.   The photo album below shows what a great time was had by all!  Next on Port’s calendar was The Dickens Day Parade, this year held on Friday Nov. 28th.  The Sailors will once again entered a float and players will wandered amongst the crowd giving out candy to all the good little boys & girls.  They also collected canned food for the Caring Cupboard Food Bank along the parade route and will have a collection box at all home games during the month of December.  Please be sure to come out to cheer on the Sailors and don't forget your food item!
